Craving sweets means I'm tired

Whenever I have the urge to stuff some sugar down my throat, it means my brain is tired and it needs a break. Smokers want to smoke when they get tired and this is how they rest their brains. It's a ritual that dissociates you from work for a few minutes. With fast carbs I don't need a break. I rape my brain and I keep working, but stress seems to build up, as well as excess fat (they seem to go hand in hand). So instead of giving in to sweets, I have decided to treat my urges as indicators of tiredness and reminders of my need to rest. Hunger for fast carbs will now be treated as another kind of pain - brain pain - "my brain hurts, it needs to recover". From now on I will take walks instead of smearing brown sugary stuff on my teeth. Carboholism will be treated like a symptom, not like a problem. Let's see what happens.
